FOR MAINTAINING THE NATURAL RESISTANCE OF PLANTS
Zinc deficiency results in intervertebral chlorosis of the upper leaves, followed by complete whitening of the leaf blade. The leaves remain tiny, and the auxin deficiency causes distorted and rosetting leaves, and stunting. The absence of zinc causes disturbances in flower and crop formation, which can lead to crop losses of up to 80%. The zinc requirements of plants are difficult to exactly determine. We distinguish plants that are less sensitive to zinc deficiency, such as cereals, asparagus, peas, and cruciferous plants. Potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables, sugar beets and alfalfa are moderately sensitive to zinc deficiency. Zinc-sensitive crops include corn, hops, flax, beans, onions, grapes, and fruits.
Indications for use: maize/corn (sweet corn, field corn, hybrid), cereals, legumes (soybean, bean, pea), vine, pome fruits, stone fruits, potatoes, vegetables (pepper, tomato, melons, cucumber, the squash/pumpkin family, onion
