2. THERE ARE MORE APPROVED USES OF MOXICLEAR FOR DOGS THAN OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS
Moxiclear kills not only the L3 and L4 stage heartworm larvae, but also the circulating forms of Diro laria immitis – the micro laryas! Due to this effect, it can be used not only to prevent the development of mature worms. But, also to reduce the spread of the infection in dogs already infected with adult forms, because the number of larvae transmitted by mosquitoes in the vascular system will be lower.
3. MOXICLEAR CAN ALSO BE USED FOR THE TREATMENT OF SKIN PARASITIC INFECTIONS IN DOGS, NOT ONLY FOR PREVENTION.
Moxiclear also kills adult Diro laria repens forms, reducing not only L3 stage larvae but also the number of circulating Diro laria repens micro-larvae. This is an important advantage in the control of skin parasites, which also pose a risk of zoonosis to the owner.

Moxiclear should be applied to the skin of the animal at the nape of the neck and between the shoulder blades so that the animal cannot lick it off.
6. MOXICLEAR IS SAFE
The product can be used safely at 7 weeks of age and above 1 kg body weight. Even at five times the therapeutic dose, only transient side effects occurred in the experimental animals. Iver- mectin-sensitive Scottish Shepherds have also tolerated it well, however, extreme caution is recommended when handling collies, bobtails and mixtures thereof, and licking of the product should be avoided.
Moxidectin and imidacloprid have no fetal harm, but Moxiclear has not been tested in pregnant animals. Use only after a benefit / risk assessment by a veterinarian.
