Breeding parent birds:
When breeding parent stock, the start of egg production is very critical for the pullets. The restricted feeding during rearing ends when the production begins. A rapid increase in feed ration results in dilute yellow diarrhea in the herd, which requires frequent management and replacement of the litter. A continuous administration of Vitapol eliminates the discharge of yellow, dilute feces, which significantly reduces labor, time, as well as the strong ammonia odor previously lingering in the space. The real advantage of Vitapol shows in egg production and hatchability, the results are illustrated in the following diagrams. The positive results achieved on the sites support our recommendation to try out and continuously use Vitapol Pulvis mixed into the feed in a 0.7% concentration.

Commercial egg production:
Nowadays, in the dynamically changing economic situation, keeping the egg-producing flocks longer in production may be justified. Recently, this has not been the case in Hungary, but since last year, in surrounding countries and several Hungarian farms too the hens are laying longer than before. Longer-laid herds produce 5-10% less than before, but the owners can save the cost of replacing the entire herd. Based on our experience in Hungary, Romania, and Poland, we recommend mixing Vitapol Pulvis in a 1% concentration into the feed with this method. As a result, the herd produces comparably (88-90%) to the original technology, the rise of the egg production curve will be steeper, and the egg size will be more uniform. The following graphs illustrate the effects of Vitapol on egg production, feed consumption, and mortality rates.
The above results were obtained for the Polish PaMiRa group with 3 million hens. The trial was performed in 2 halves of a 40,000-strong barn at the same time under the same conditions, with a separate feed system, the only difference being the dosage of Vitapol. As a result of Vitapol, feed utilization improved significantly, resulting in a 5% decrease in feed consumption compared to the control herd. During the 43-day trial, we were able to reduce mortality and also improve egg production. Vitapol makes the most of all herds. Based on the above results and our farm experience, we recommend Vitapol Pulvis to supplement the feed of any pullets or laying flock, mixed into the feed in a 0.6-1% concentration.
